The National Institute of Canine Experts, NICE, is a professional non-profit association dedicated to the research, promotion  and publicizing of educational information related to all aspects of the care and training of the domestic dog.

 

The National Institute of Dog Experts  seeks to provide information to the public, dog professionals, dog breeders, and legislators regarding the proper and humane use of the tools, methodology, techniques and philosophies used in the breeding, care, management, rehabilitation and training of the domestic dog.

 
NICE will gather, compile and disseminate to the dog owning public, canine professionals and caring politicians information on the proper and humane use of  dog training,  management and rehabilitation tools and methods.  As an organization we will examine and investigate the tools and methods used in dog care, dog training and management in a logical and factual manner and report our findings in the same manner.

NICE will create programs that will educate the community about the dangers of dog fighting, irresponsible dog breeding and dog safety. In addition, we will support the exploration of the dog human bond and the physical, emotional and psychological beneficial effects of dog ownership and interaction by  men, woman and children.  We are devoted to educate disadvantaged children, the homeless, abused women, the elderly and LGBT populations about the benefits of responsible dog ownership, training and breeding.

Human education and coaching in the proper manner of communicating with one another and also with their canine companions is the best way to create permanent change and increase kindness and compassion. NICE is dedicated to supporting cutting-edge techniques that teach humans how to communicate better between themselves and as a benefit increase communication with canines.

 

NICE believes that the proper and humane use of appropriate dog training tools, methods, philosophies and techniques enhances responsible dog ownership  reduces the probabilities of  inhumane treatment, abuse, abandonment and euthanasia of companion and working dogs.
